** How We Were Introduced to Lindsay **
My wife and I currently live in Los Angeles but were looking to buy in San Diego. We asked a realtor friend in LA if she had any recommendations for realtors specializing in the San Diego market and she referred us to Lindsay.
We let Lindsay know that we weren't in a rush to buy and just wanted to casually watch the market. We let her know which areas we were interested in and she introduced us to other areas in San Diego that we weren't familiar with that she thought we might like; San Marcos was one of them (where we ended up buying!).
** The House Hunt **
Lindsay set us up with an automated daily digest that would notify us of new listings or open houses for the areas we were watching. If any of them caught our eye, we'd let her know. She even offered to visit the properties on our behalf (since we lived in LA) to take pictures or video call with us to show us around -- how AMAZING!
Over the course of a couple months, we made about 4 trips down to San Diego to visit different batches of houses. Our initial target area was down in Mira Mesa, but as we spent more time in North County, the more we could imagine ourselves settling down there.
** Making Offers **
We weren't planning on making an offer so early in the year...but once you start house hunting, you just get so excited! Being first-time home buyers, we fell into the trap of getting too attached to the first couple houses we liked, willing to offer listing price on the fear of missing out. This is where it's so critical to have an honest realtor by your side and we lucked out in having Lindsay on our team. She was always very honest with us and let us know if she thought a house was overpriced.
** Escrow **
We had heard so many nightmare stories from our friends who have recently purchased a house. Tales of escrow being extremely stressful and time consuming. Being all the way in LA, we thought it'd be even more challenging for us. But we were so wrong!! Lindsay made escrow...fun?? (Is that even possible?) Lindsay was always super responsive, professional (we love Docu-Sign!!), friendly, and assertive.
We zoomed through escrow with no issues and ended up with our dream house! I've been telling all my friends about my positive experience as a first-time homebuyer and recommend Lindsay to anyone!”

Lindsay is everything you would want in a professional real estate agent; she is proactive, communicates well and advocates for her clients. We interviewed a couple of real estate agents when we decided to sell our town house and we immediately had a great feeling after meeting with her. She was well prepared for the initial consultation and brought a lot of useful information regarding the selling process and recent sales in the area, which gave us a good idea of what to expect. Selling a home for the first time can be stressful, but Lindsay made the process painless and very smooth. It only took 7 days after the initial meeting to get our home on the market. Lindsay literally took care of everything, including getting a professional photographer in for the listing photos, as well as a professional staging consultant to give us tips on how to get our home ready for the open house. If she has concerns about a specific home, she voices them to make sure her clients have the whole picture. She is a strong negotiator and fights for her clients. We dealt with some pretty annoying and disorganized sellers along the way and Lindsay was always on top of things to make sure we get the answers we need.
Lindsay and her team go above and beyond. They actually care about their clients and not just a quick sale. So many realtors out there are pushy and you can feel that they don't have your best interest in mind. In the spring this year, Lindsay invited us to her year client appreciation get -together for current and past clients. This just speaks volumes on how much she cares about her clients.
